What are the classes like? 

All our classes are small group with 1 to 1 instructor to student classroom support.  Businesses may request larger classes, but we are known for our small class size and 1 to 1 instructor to student support.  Students enjoy our instructor to student interaction.  

What is your blended learning format?

The blended learning format is usually held Monday-Friday.  This format allows the student to obtain his or her BLS Provider credential (initial or renewal) through completing Heartcode BLS online before attending our structured hands-on session.  We offer blending learning options for other AHA courses as well.  

What is the online component?

The online component is comprised  of self-directed modules including simulations, videos, activities, and interactive questions with feedback.  

What does your structured hands-on session look like?

The instructor uses a set structure to assist students during the session.  The instructor coaches, debriefs, discusses, uses scenarios, and gives feedback during each session.  The instructor makes sure students are comfortable with their skills before testing.  

Is Heartcode Basic Life Support (BLS) the right course for me?

Yes, All formats of American Heart Association's Heartcode BLS are suitable for students preparing for health careers.

What is the cost of attending a BLS blended learning course?

The cost is 52.00 which includes a 6.00 certification card fee.   Other course fees vary depending on your desired course. 

Do you pay this cost upon registration?

No, we do not accept this payment at registration; however, we do require a 12.00 fee to reserve your spot. This is deducted from the 52.00 payment or any other course payment.

Are there other fees for this course?

What do I need to bring to class with me after completing my blended learning course?

You will need to bring your certificate from Heartcode BLS online to class with you on your scheduled CPR date. Some students choose to email their certificate to us as well.  For students completing other AHA blended learning courses, please email or bring your certificate of completion to your  scheduled course.
